Laws of Motion
A ball keeps rolling until friction stops it, and a rocket rises by throwing gas down. Chapter 4, Laws of Motion, of the NCERT Physics textbook for Class 11 organises such facts into Newton's three laws. You will study inertia, momentum and force, draw free body diagrams, and analyse connected blocks, pulleys and motion on inclines. Friction, static and kinetic, is measured and modelled, and uniform circular motion with centripetal force shows the laws steering bodies along curves as well as straight lines.
