Your child will follow charge through real circuits and analyse networks methodically. Current electricity usually fetches about seven marks, often a Kirchhoff-law or bridge question. Learners study electric current with drift velocity and mobility, Ohm law with resistivity and its temperature dependence, series and parallel combinations of resistors, cells carrying emf with internal resistance, Kirchhoff laws for junctions and loops, and the Wheatstone bridge with the metre bridge for measurement.
