Ear to Ear
This chapter from NCERT Looking Around, Class 4, Chapter 2 invites children to observe ears, hair, skin patterns, and sounds of animals around them. By comparing cows, dogs, elephants, birds, lizards, and fish, it shows which animals have visible ears and hair and which do not, and links these features to how animals hear and live. Simple surveys, drawings, and animal sounds train careful observation and build the early idea of grouping animals by shared body features.
