Beyond Earth
The night sky invites questions about the Moon's changing face, the wandering planets, and the distant stars, which NCERT Curiosity for Class 6, Chapter 12, takes up. The chapter guides observation of the Moon's phases, compares the rocky planets with the gas giants, explains what stars are and why the Sun matters to life on Earth, and introduces India's space journey from early rockets to Chandrayaan and Mangalyaan. It closes by encouraging sky-watching and curiosity about whether life exists elsewhere.
