Straight Lines
A road climbing steadily has a slope, and every straight path on graph paper has an equation. Chapter 9, Straight Lines, of the NCERT Mathematics textbook for Class 11 connects the two. You will compute slope from two points and from inclination, write equations in point-slope, two-point, slope-intercept, intercept and normal forms, reduce the general equation to these forms, and find the distance of a point from a line and the angle between two lines.
