Probability
The earlier idea of equally likely outcomes needs a broader base when outcomes are not symmetric. Chapter 14, Probability, of the NCERT Mathematics textbook for Class 11 builds that base from random experiments, sample spaces and events. You will describe impossible, sure, complementary, mutually exclusive and exhaustive events, work with the axiomatic view that assigns probabilities to outcomes, and apply addition rules with simple conditional reasoning to problems on cards, dice and selections.
