Light: Shadows and Reflections
Sunshine streaming through a window and a mirror flashing light across a room both reveal how light behaves, the starting point of this chapter of the NCERT Curiosity textbook for Class 7. It shows that light travels in straight lines, explains how opaque objects cast sharp shadows and pinholes form images, and demonstrates reflection from plane mirrors with laws learners can verify. Playful activities with shadows, periscopes, and mirror writing turn these rules into experiments learners will remember.
