Jugs and Mugs

NCERT Math-Magic for Class 4, Chapter 7 returns to jugs and mugs with bigger capacity tasks. Children measure buckets, tanks and bottles in litres and millilitres, convert between the two units, and add or subtract volumes in mixing and serving stories. They estimate container sizes, mark graduated levels, and check dairy and water needs by volume. Experiments with pouring and spilling teach care. It extends earlier pouring work into computation with measures that homes, dairies and clinics use every day.
