Give and Take
NCERT Math-Magic for Class 3, Chapter 3 practises give and take with addition and subtraction up to one thousand. Children add and subtract two and three digit numbers with and without regrouping, using bundles, blocks and number lines to see why tens carry over. They solve market and fair stories, frame their own word problems, and check answers by reversing the operation. Estimating first keeps results sensible.
